How to Build a Game
Create interactive AI-powered games in minutes using our simple game builder. No coding required.
Quick Start
The fastest way to create a game is to describe what you want and let AI build it for you.
- 1
Describe your game idea
Tell us what kind of game you want. For example: "A mystery game where players solve a murder at a mansion" or "An adventure game exploring a haunted forest."
- 2
AI generates your game
Our AI will create characters, locations, storylines, and game mechanics based on your description.
- 3
Review and customize
Fine-tune characters, adjust dialogue, and perfect your game before publishing.
Understanding Game Components
Every game on AgentGames is made up of Agents. Agents can be characters, locations, objects, or anything players can interact with.
Characters
People, creatures, or entities that players can talk to. Each character has their own personality, knowledge, and goals.
Locations
Places players can visit and explore. Locations can contain clues, items, or lead to other agents.
Voice & Dialogue
Each agent can have a unique voice and speaking style. Players interact through natural conversation.
Game Logic
Set up conditions for winning, unlocking secrets, and progressing through the story.
Setting Up an Agent
Each agent in your game can be customized with the following properties:
Name & Image
Give your agent a memorable name and visual appearance. The image appears when players interact with this agent.
Instructions
Define the agent's role, personality, backstory, and how they should respond. This is the AI's guide for playing the character.
Introduction & Greeting
Set what the agent says when first meeting a player (introduction) and how they greet returning players (greeting).
Transfer Access
Control which other agents players can visit. Add conditions like "only after visiting the library" or "only if player has the key."
Questions
Define questions the agent may ask. Player answers are stored and can unlock content or affect the story.
Resources
Resources the agent can grant to players, such as currency, consumables, keys, equipment, quest items, stats, or misc. Resources can be required to access certain agents or complete the game.
Secret Knowledge
Information revealed only when certain conditions are met, like having the right item or answering a question correctly.
Setting Win Conditions
Every game needs a goal. Define what players must do to complete your game:
- Visit specific agents — Player must talk to certain characters or visit certain locations
- Answer questions correctly — Player must provide the right answer to a key question
- Collect resources — Player must obtain specific items from agents
- Combine conditions — Use AND/OR logic to create complex win conditions
Tips for Great Games
- •Start simple — Begin with 3-5 agents and expand from there
- •Give characters personality — Unique voices and speaking styles make games memorable
- •Test your game — Play through it yourself to find issues before publishing
- •Use secrets wisely — Hidden information creates exciting discoveries
- •Clear objectives — Make sure players understand their goal
Publishing Your Game
Once you're happy with your game, you can publish it for others to play:
Share with the community
Published games appear in our game library where anyone can discover and play them. You can also share a direct link to your game.
